The number of foreigners working in Japan has been increasing, recently 1,724,328 as of October 2020 (according to a report by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare). This number has increased by 4% in October 2020. Although this rate was 13.6% in 2019, the number of foreign workers has decreased significantly due to the influence of the Covid-19 Pandamic.
